Azumanga Daio is originally serialized in a very popular ?Electric Shock Daio? manga. The story revolves around high school girls. Each main characters have colorful and attractive personality for comic fans, such as gifted 10 years old highschool girl, cool highschool girl, natural highschool girl, highschool girl with glasses and weird older teachers. Based on four panel comic, each episode is rather short around five minutes.

The movie is only about 5-6 minutes long if this was to fit in with the TV series it would have to be prior to around the halfway point, which is when one of the characters has a superficial change happen.
