Not going to befriend him. I don't need to. Based on the time and schedules, he is not an actual problem. You also forget I also learned fatal and non-fatal pressure points. These were NOT learned from my instructor, and I considered using a pressure point that only causes pain, but since that would not be cool to use against my own instructor, I decided against it. I later accidentally hit one, and based on his reaction... It works very well. So if for some reason I am not able to beat him in a normal fight... Who am I kidding? I'd go straight for the ears [to disorientate him], then strike the throat. If he's still standing, I'll Kung Fu kick him in the inner thigh, near the side of the knee.

He doesn't need to kill the Criminal after all Spoiler He'll go for the kill but when he'll find out that his target's letter was forged.. all he'll need to do is take his letter and get out from there. Once he's without the letter, he'll be once again an ordinary criminal without a special pass and there will be nothing holding back the authorities for going after him But only problem is that my characterI can only know about the letter being forged is by striking a conversation with him and as currently my character doesn't have the ability to restrain himself from killing a person that he attacks.. the most he could do is ruffle him up bad enough that he would think that he died when he looks at him or leave him in a state in which he'll soon die. As the setting has changed from the criminal taking a place in the slums to now residing in a hotel, my character will need to be extra careful. Anyhow once without the letter the criminal won't be able to go out in public claiming that he had a letter (2 reasons for one he'll be drawing too much attention to himself and that would be bad for him .. 2ndly the letter was forged so the ship won't have any records of receiving him if they go into details of verifying his claims) And also this way I could create an arch nemesis for my main character. .... But its going to be too much hassle so in the end I think I'll just have my main guy kill the criminal and get all problems dealt with then and there ... or maybe I'll change my mind half way .. again XD

It would be a whole different story if Kain broke his knees before hand But yeah just letting loose some insects near the guy shouldn't be too much of a hassle (as long as they go up his legs or what not instead of smelling some food and heading away from the target )
