I really don't think that's why Sony did that because of the 360's claim. Sony put all that stuff in to create a home entertainment, and it is constantly being updated with new features. Another reason, is that Sony wants this system to last long, in term of Sony's support for the system long after PS4 comes out (look at PS2, still going strong).

i say the xbox 360 is the best out of all of the systems i have the ps3 doesnt have any good games that are out so i dont even play with it that much no more

I own a PS3, but have no intention of getting a 360. I'm not necessarily saying that PS3 is better than the 360 though. The only good games I see for the 360 are Halo 3 and Gears of War. Between the two, I'd give it a tie. It depends on the consumer really.

PS3 is wicked, and with heavenly sword coming onto it, I'm hanging for a good PS3 deal and getting it. Wii is awesome for parties! Plug it in to a nice widescreen TV and endless hours of fun. I was told by one of my alco friends its even better after fifteen bottles of jack daniels ... I'm also a wii fan...

XBOX is sweet too, but PS3 at this time has more going for it now... plus i can sync my PSP to it. and it plays blu tooth. Xbox is kinda loud and glitchy, but has a impressive host of game going for it admittedly.

PS3 and XBOX essentially only have better graphics. Games are all prequels to earlier
PS1 titles and gameplay is the same. There's nothing new at all from PS1 to PS3.

I'm on the Wii on this one. You guys should try Zelda on Wii.

Hard to pick. ;-; I would probably pick Wii because I can play with my siblings and/or friends also. PS3 if it had more interesting games coming out. Xbox360 is for pretty much when with friends mostly to me. =o

Wii is the best. Nintendo has always had the best games. Xbox is the Halo machine. PS3, well I don' t have anything good to say about it..........

Also Metroid Prime 3 is AWESOME, I definitely recommmend.

Xbox360 - Decent library of games with many more coming around the corner. If you want a system that you can play a lot of high quality games right now than this is for you without a doubt. Its also great if you like to play multiplayer games as there are plently that you can burn 100+ hours on currently and more that will be out in the coming months to years. Right now i give it an A-...unfortunately the lineup in the future looks average. Some decent titles but the blockbusters will be out soon and than we have to wait on more from Xbox to announce to get excited. E3 dissapointed me something fierce...so overall i give Xbox a B+

PS3 - Expensive lump of crap. The games that are coming out for it are slowly getting better. THis time best year i might think differntly but currently i would give Ps3 a solid C- right now. Though with mgs4 and decent titles going to start coming out consistently i will move ps3 rating to a B simply cause the future looks bright and exciting.

Wii - Talk about a machine that is hit and miss. It is awesome if you like to play 1 or 2 games every year or have a lot of friends to play the idiotic mini games. Personally i think the wii being cheap is its only saving grace and if you are competing with these two its impossible. The Wii is good...but it is not as good as the Xbox or the Ps3...once again it is the 3rd best console like last gen but the sell numbers will not say it because of the insane prices from the other consoles in comparision.

so in conclusion Xbox is the best right now and i see in the future. Ps3 will get better and compete...but for now and for the next year or two its Xbox all the way...you can't even make an argument for the other 2...ps3 and wii both lack games right now really...
