Do you guys believe in aliens ? That some where in the universe there is life & maybe as intelligent ass us .. maybe more & is observing us ??? state your reason or evidence for your choice on why you believe and why not.

Yeah the universe is big ... But what's the possibilities that the perfect conditions for life exists ? Our own solar system .. There is nothing other than earth .. well titan ( saturns moon) has all the necessary ingredients for life , but the distance from the sun ... And if it was mars in the place of earth .. their still would never have life .. So do you really think that there can be a life somewhere else & the fancy aliens with big huge eyes come & say Hi to us ???

It'd be an awful waste of universe if there were not any other lifeforms..

or maybe we were just that special enough to God that he created an entire universe full of marvels just for us, to explore.. to study.. to peek at our curiosity ?

If God didn't create it, then it ain't out there. ONLY God can create life, even non human life.. aliens.

there are trillions upon trillions of planets out there(not an exaggeration). its highly unlikely, if not impossible, that Earth is the only one that can support life. that said, whether or not there is life out there, intelligent or no, we'll probably never get to meet any. traveling at the speed of light, we'd still take ages to get a good distance away from our solar system.

this matter can be likened to that of the age old analogy: if a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around, does it make a sound? if aliens are out there, and we never get to see them, it would be as good as if they did not exist.

I believe Earth is not the only planet that can sustain life. there certainly has to be other planets that can support life. Perhaps like Planet of the Apes? :laughs: If there is, and somehow we found it and managed to find a way to get there, maybe a new era will be upon us.

Sure I believe in aliens. It would be an awful waist of space if we were the sole sentient life form living on the only planet capable of sustaining life.

My dad once came home claiming that he had followed a UFO for about 30 minutes as it hovered along a back country road. Oh ya and get this, he said it was hovering only just above tree hight, their was no sound and it had three lights in a triangular configuration.

I think in this time and age, one who does not believe in the existence of intelligent life outside of Earth would be very ignorant. There are hundreds of billions of stars in the universe, hundreds of millions of galaxies, and not to mention the possibility of life outside our universe altogether (eg. the possibilities of parallel and alternate universes). Yet we are just such an extremely minute fraction of the universe (smaller than a grain of salt in the empire state building). The possibilities of life outside Earth would have to be 100% in my opinion.

by the maths alone, the probabilites of many sentient races out there are enormous, so seeing that the milky way is a relatively new galaxy, we're probably eons behind the most intelligent races, and I do believe that we have been spotted by other races, but think about it like this. If we were in their position, such a primitive species as us, would you want to interfere with our natural evolution by contacting us and giving us technology? hell no..that'd just make some madman/country like destroy the rest of the world with some kind of super futuristic nuke or something
so even if maybe in a couple millenia(if we're still alive) WE find primitive sentient aliens, as curious as we are I think we're smart enough to know not to contact them

if we are the only beings in the freaking universe than this sucks because we have nothing to do once we make it to space but find new plants to mooch off of
i guess after a really REALLY long time we could get to go and see the diversity that would come from being on other planets
but i don't think that would be that great

i cant find a valid reason why we shouldnt or should beieve. its hard to know whether or not they do exist unless youve pysically seen one and met them (and ur mentally healthy of course). i personally would like to think they could exist. with all the billions upon billions of stars and planets out there it seems that the probabilty of some sort of culture (whether simply bacterial or fully blown kind of humanoid in nature) not existing to be very low.

If you really believe everything on Earth including us is created by God, then you really need to wake to reality and start living in the 21st Century. It was only about 300 to 400 years ago, people were brainwashed by the church of the day to believe that Earth is at the centre of the universe and everything else revolves around it - now we all know that there isn't a grain of truth in that.

To live in such a vast universe where Earth is only a tiny tiny tiny dot in the totality of the universe, and not believe in other intelligent beings exist elsewhere, but simply believe that God created us, then I really feel sorry for you.

thats my exagerration but its really many years even not billions and i never seen such a thing but only in movies.. i think its just people's fiction or fantasy since they cant explore the whole universe they just made that up and make people believe with it, but for me sorry but i really dont believe it.. aliens are just fiction that we watched in TV.
