halo is too Half Life - ish. i find it to get boring after a while of continuous play
CoD 4 is just all out mayhem, its loads of fun and u dont even notice that uve played it for long periods of time as with halo u do

Well it is kindof hard to compare the two because Halo 3 hasnt reached the PC yet.

On the 360 Halo wins by alot.
I think COD4 has a higher multiplayer value than Halo 3 (because Halo3 multiplayer will be through windows Live = subscription service)

The only thing annoying about the lvling in COD4 is going up against someone with far superior weapons and unlocks. But apart from that its great.

They are both great games but if you wanted more of a si-fi style game Halo. And if you wanted a game more like real life COD4.
I personally love both games and can't say if one is better than the other.

COD4. Halo 3 was a good story but short. and online was cool but not as offering as much as COD4 was. the customization was excellent .

I like COD4 because its also on PC. I don't own a 360 so I don't play Halo 3 much. I like the customization of COD4 as well as how people rage at Martyr.

I think they're two sides of the earth. There isn't even a point to compare.

Well, yeah, they're both FPS, but one is kinda "real" and the otherone is from space and aliens and blablabla.

There's lots of action in both, personally I preffer COD4, I play online and once in a while I play the campaign (extremely short) over again...
