I had a heated discussion a couple weeks ago on the gamespot forum. The main topic was about what was the best fighting game of this generation. Anyways, a bunch of Nintendo fanboys voted for SSB Brawl. I made my opinion that Brawl wasn't a deep fighter. Some ppl agreed, other ppl didn't. Anyways to defend the ssb series, fans claimed that Melee was much more deeper than brawl. I couldn't help but to be confused. I mean, they're practically the same game right?
Maybe you guys can help me. I played both Brawl and Melee, but I can't tell the difference between the two. What made Melee supposedly better than Brawl? If you think Brawl is better than Melee, please give me reasons as to why.
This isn't meant to put down the series, I just can't see neither as a deep fighter.

I personally don't know the difference, I though Melee had more characters... but I could be wrong, I think there may be slight differences between the two.
It's a great Fighter, people have said that and agree. Is it deep?... Maybe to a certian extent, but I think there are much much more deep fighters in manner of fighting possibilities.
But then again, Fighters isn't my area of expertise, so I can't say much.
